This website is run by Signage Print Identity Ltd (SPI), a company registered in England and Wales, company number 15192491. What information we collect
- Enquiries and quick quotes: when you use our contact or Quick Quote forms we collect your name, email address, telephone number, organisation (contact form only), your message and any photos or artwork files you upload.
- Emails and calls: if you contact us directly we keep the details you give us so we can reply.
- Website usage: if you accept cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how you use our website, such as the pages you visit, how you arrived, your device type and approximate location (town or region level).
- Spam protection: our forms use Google reCAPTCHA, which checks that form submissions come from a real person.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry, prepare quotes and deliver the work you ask us to do. The lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and performing that contract.
- To keep records of our work and meet our legal and accounting obligations. The lawful basis is legal obligation.
- To understand how our website is used and measure our advertising, so we can improve it. We only do this if you accept cookies, so the lawful basis is your consent.
- To protect our forms from spam and abuse. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in keeping our website secure.
We do not sell your information and we do not use it for automated decision making.
Who we share it with
We only share your information with trusted suppliers who help us run our business and website, and only as much as they need:
- our website host and website developer, who store and maintain the website and its form submissions;
- our email delivery provider, which sends form notifications to our team;
- Google, for Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads measurement and reCAPTCHA;
- subcontractors working on your project, where they need your details to deliver it.
Some of these suppliers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or an adequacy decision are in place.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not become work are kept for up to 2 years and then deleted. Where you become a customer, we keep project and financial records for 6 years after the end of the financial year they relate to, as required for tax and accounting purposes. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To make a request, email info@signprintid.com. We will reply within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
Cookies
Cookies are small files saved on your device when you visit a website. We use them only where you have agreed, apart from the ones needed for the website to work and to remember your cookie choice. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of every page.
